A bad week

This week hasn't been so great.

I've been soaked through so many times while riding the bike, the bike itself has a small oil leak, and my new waterproof boots have been lost in the mail. Still got more than half of the week to go!

Thoughts in the shower

I have some of my best thoughts in the shower. So much so that I've been contemplating getting a diver's slate so I have somewhere to write my ideas down.

As I was thinking about the future, I pondered my headstone and what would be written on it. Surely something reflecting what I'd achieved in life? Then I thought, "It is better to spend your whole life trying to get somewhere and failing than to have not tried anything at all."

Time to chase your dreams.

Out of Office ;P

Sorry guys, I'm currently out in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, so it may be some time before I make another post.

There are two wedding receptions here, and one couple who is receiving our album from when they were married in Australia. Looks like I will be busy with post processing when I get back.

I was thinking about posting up a few walkthroughs on how I do things.

Photographers and Jeans

One of a photographer's best friends? Jeans. Because you're always kneeling, squatting, lying down, on your knees, on your bum and generally in a strange variety of positions.

Climate Change

The US is contributing about AU$4 billion in 2010-2012 towards climate change. For perspective: the M5 tunnel duplication project costs that much. Japan & EU? AU$12 billion. Each.

Christmas Decorations

Is 1st November too early for Christmas decorations? Our Christmas tree is already up!

Animania Adelaide Prep

Leaving for Animania Adelaide this weekend. My bags are on their way over on the truck and the support crew are driving over there now. It's a good two day drive from Sydney to Adelaide, so we're wishing them well (The rest of us are flying over. Ha!).

Shooting!

Had a full day of shooting for a wedding. Boy am I sore. I love my Industry Disgrace neckstrap so much now.
